HUNTING

Hundreds of hectares that have become home to many species in Spain. We found wild boars, deer, roe deer, many different species of birds and our treasure: the blue ducks. Our proximity to the Sierra de Gredos allows our most daring clients to live the experience of a Iberian mountain male, unique in Spain.

The hunting services provided will depend on the client’s needs (prices are not included in the daily rate):

Assistance at the airport with the necessary procedures for the entry of shotguns in Spain.
Hunting license, hunting permit and hunting insurance in Spain.
Shotgun loan.
Unlimited ammunition
Transportation of 4X4 vehicles during the hunts.
Rain boots if necessary.

Duck Hunting

Undoubtedly, from a hunting point of view, this is the best experience that can be had at the Finca. Valmorisco has two large marshes, which give shelter and home to the mallard duck. Days in which elegance, experience and nature, give us the opportunity to shoot 1000 ducks or more.

The experience of many years has taught us to learn all the tricks, understand the animal, and especially to give the best drives, accompanied by experienced professionals and trained dogs.

The place gives the clients the opportunity to walk if they prefer, since it is only 15 minutes from the house.

Big Hunting Games

During the hunting season (October – February) we give two days of the traditional Spanish ‘montería’, in which you have the opportunity to shoot both wild boors and deers in a driven hunt.

There is also the opportunity to shoot these animals by stalking or waiting on a spot.

Spanish Ibex Hunting

Our proximity to Gredos gives our clients the opportunity to shoot a unique species in the world- the Spanish Ibex. This hunt is the most natural and wild one. We know and understand intimately the animals we stalk, so when you hunt with us it will be the genuine experience that we can offer you as fellow hunters. Transfer from and to Gredos is on us, as the guarantee of being accompanied by a professional from the area.

Falconry

Falconry is the hunting of wild animals in their natural state and habitat by means of a trained bird of prey. Accompanied by the beauty of the area, it is one of the best experiences you can have in la Finca.

Photographic Safari

Discover our estate and enjoy pure nature and wild life in one of our two 4×4 vehicles. Valmorisco is the home of deers, wild boars and mountain cats. The luckiest ones may also enjoy the sightseeing of an Iberian Lynx, a protected species due to its low population.

Ornithology

The regions of La Vera and the Jerte Valley are home to a unique set of species that inhabit within the Extremaduran community, with the best regional representation of forest and mountain birds.

The proposed route consists of a 22km vehicle journey between Cuacos de Yuste and the port of Piornal and a 5km walking route to the Peña Negra de Piornal. The whole route is in the mountains, ascending from the 600m of Cuacos to the almost 1,500m of Peña Negra through different vegetation floors, basically oak forest in the section by road and heath in the pedestrian section.

Monfragüe National Park

The Monfragüe National Park, located between Navalmoral de la Mata, Plasencia and Trujillo, is one of the points of greatest ornithological interest in Spain. In this wonderful environment you can find the imperial eagle, the black vulture, the black stork and large colonies of griffon vultures among many other species.
